News

Lumen Freedom, a world leading manufacturer of Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) systems, announced the supply of their first Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging system, to McLaren Automotive’s Ultimate Series Hyper-GT, the Speedtail.

Info

WEVC will soon become the charging mode of choice with many vehicle manufacturers planning implementation of this new technology on future models. WEVC provides hands free, efficient, clean and unobtrusive charging with performance levels equal to or greater than that of cable systems.

From static to Dynamic non-stop highway charging, the development and adoption of WEVC makes EV driving even more appealing and eliminates visual urban pollution. WEVC is also an enabler for the future development and uptake of autonomous driving.

Lumen Freedom operates from an advanced, secure, technical centre based in Melbourne Australia.
