Chinese Car Manufacturer, Great Wall Motor (GWM), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with H2 Mobility to become its seventh shareholder and co-owner. It will contribute additional investment to the company and acquire a minority share in H2 Mobility. GWM thereby joins the six existing shareholders, namely Air Liquide, Daimler, Linde, OMV, Shell and Total.

Audi and Umicore have successfully completed phase one of their strategic research cooperation for battery recycling. The two partners are developing a closed loop for components of high-voltage batteries that can be used again and again. ViaVan, the joint venture between Via, an on-demand shared transit service, and Mercedes-Benz Vans, announced the launch of its shared ride service in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This is the fourth city launch for ViaVan, following on the heels of its successful debut in Amsterdam and London earlier this year and its partnership with Berlin’s public transit authority, BerlinerVerkehrsbetriebe (BVG).
