Denso has taken a stake in Palo Alto, Calif.-based Bond Mobility Inc., the world’s only speed eBike sharing company that delivers high-performance micromobility services. The close of Bond’s $20 million series A funding round was led by Denso’s New Mobility Group out of its global headquarters in Japan, and Ininvest. Denso will use Bond’s technologies to accelerate the development of its Mobility as a Service (MaaS) model.

Tata Technologies, a global engineering services organisation, announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with FutureMove Automotive, a leading high-tech Chinese enterprise specialising in connected services, to develop comprehensive and unique connected mobility solutions for automotive manufacturers in China and worldwide. The companies signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Auto Shanghai, the biggest auto fair of the South East Asia region.

Tritium, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) DC fast charging technology, has opened its state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) centre, the largest of its kind in the world and the global centre for Tritium’s facilities in Europe and North America. The Tritium E-Mobility Innovation Centre in Brisbane, Australia, is part of a major expansion of Tritium’s headquarters. The shift to the new facilities will help increase production rates and allow for much faster time-to-market, while further enabling the rapid development of technologies which will continue to shape the EV roadmap worldwide.
