Tesla announces production and deliveries in Q1 2020

In the first quarter, Tesla produced almost 103,000 vehicles and delivered approximately 88,400 vehicles. This has been the company's best ever first quarter performance.

The American EV maker produced 15,390 units of the more premium Model S/X, while it delivered 12,200 units of these models. The Model 3/Y accounted for 87,282 units produced and 76,200 units delivered.

Model Y production started in January and deliveries began in March, significantly ahead of schedule. Additionally, Tesla's Shanghai factory continued to achieve record levels of production, despite significant setbacks.
