WAYDO collaborates with The Mobility House to manage charging processes intelligently
WAYDO, operator of the largest public charging network for electric cars in the northwest of Germany, is adding The Mobility House’s Charging and Energy Management ChargePilot to its customer portfolio due to the increasing importance of smart and grid-compatible charging.
The Mobility House's dynamic load management enables WAYDO to set up the charging infrastructure for customers in a more cost-effective and future-proof way. Especially in companies or buildings with several charging points, electric cars often encounter limited connection capacity. Here, ChargePilot, integrated in WAYDO's holistic mobility concept, guarantees both, an efficient and cost-effective usage of grid connection: the system automatically eliminates expensive load peaks during operation and thereby saves on running energy costs.
In addition, it significantly reduces costs when installing charging points, as the effort required for electrical installation is much lower than without load management.
The new partnership has started with a project at WAYDO's headquarters in Oldenburg. The mobility provider's car park is equipped with intelligently controlled charging points - meaning that WAYDO itself also benefits from the many advantages of the smart Charging and Energy Management System ChargePilot.
