The reveal of the all-new vehicle, which will have a targeted pure-electric driving range of up to 600 km (more than 370 miles under WLTP regulations), will take place in Los Angeles on November 18th. Ford's new all-electric vehicle will be on public display for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2019.

This new all-electric SUV is poised to be the primary rival to Tesla's Model Y. Ford has been making some serious strides in the EV space. It believes that the future of the company lies in electric mobility. The automaker has also diverted a part of its investment meant for the development of ICEs towards readying new EVs. Ford has also partnered with Volkswagen to use its MEB platform meant for all electric vehicles in certain models.

Last week, the American auto-giant also revealed its plans to partner with EV charging providers across the world to make the switch for its customers to EVs as smooth as possible.

The all-electric Crossover SUV is scheduled to go on sale in late 2020.
