On this basis, both parties seek to work on advanced solutions for the Internet of Vehicles and to jointly promote intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperation systems in China.

At the occasion of the signing ceremony, Frank Petznick, responsible for Hella's electronics business in China and also Head of the Global Product Centre Automated Driving, said: “Hella has been active in the Chinese market for many years. Since then, we are consistently positioning ourselves along major automotive market trends. The cooperation with Nebula Link gives us additional opportunities to make a targeted contribution to the development of vehicle to everything (V2X) for China and make one further step towards autonomous driving.”

“The cooperation with Hella can make our advantages complementary to each other from cars to roads. The intelligent vehicle-infrastructure cooperation systems as well as the integration of intelligent sensors and systems can eliminate the blind spot that existed in single-car intelligence, which enable the development of safe, efficient and comfortable intelligent driving, and become the hard core of highly autonomous driving, “said Pan Jun, CEO of Nebula Link, during the signing ceremony.

Intelligent connected vehicle is developed rapidly in China and will bring smart transportation with the increasing development of V2X and 5G technology. In this context, especially highly and fully automated vehicles also require the collaboration of V2X, so that human, cars, roads and the cloud can be highly integrated in order to make travel safe, efficient and comfortable.

Hella's product portfolio includes various key components and solutions for the environmental perception of vehicles, including radar sensors and front camera software among other things. As a high-tech enterprise in China, Nebula Link has its core research and development team, which primarily focuses on the development of V2X, especially in the field of the vehicle-infrastructure cooperation systems, and provides V2X on-board equipment and roadside systems as well as solutions of vehicle cooperative safety driving.
