ParkMobile hits the milestone of 10 million users

ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America, announced that the company has surpassed the 10 million user milestone.

Launched in 2008, the company's growth has accelerated in recent years with ParkMobile now adding about 1 million users every 80 days. Today, approximately 1 in 20 drivers in the U.S. has registered with ParkMobile and the app ranks number 3 in the "Navigation" category of the Apple App Store, just behind Google Maps and Waze.

ParkMobile's user growth has been driven by its expanding footprint across North America and innovative new functionality, including event reservations, the ability to find and pay for electronic vehicle charging and the on-street parking availability feature that helps drivers quickly navigate to open spots in their area.

So far in 2018, ParkMobile has expanded into several major markets including Tampa, FL, Berkeley, CA, and Tulsa, OK, as well as adding over 1,000 new parking garages to its reservations inventory. Coming up in September this year, ParkMobile will roll out in Alexandria, VA, making it easier to pay for parking with one app across the entire DC metro area including Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Arlington and Washington, DC.

This rapid growth is a key reason why ParkMobile was just named to the Inc. 5000, recognising America's fastest-growing private companies.
