To meet the growing demand for highly reliable technology on the Internet of Things (IoT), Crystal Group a designer and manufacturer of rugged computer hardware, announces the development of a rugged server able to withstand extreme temperature variations for commercial autonomous vehicles (AVs).
Crystal Group's RS363S15F Rugged 3U Server is powered by Intel® processors, providing a system with applications designed for the commercial AV market. Crystal Group and Intel have been working with other technology companies and major automotive OEMs as part of the Intel® IoT Solutions Alliance to build systems to support the entire driverless vehicle ecosystem.
The RS363S15F Rugged 3U Server from Crystal Group is designed to enable high-performance computing and high-capacity data storage in a small size, weight, and power (SWaP) package with a depth under 15 inches (38.1 cm) to fit virtually any space. Several major automotive manufacturers have selected this rugged and reliable server for use in autonomous vehicles. The RS363S15F is aimed towards the automotive, aerospace and defense, government, industrial, Internet of Things, security, transportation, utility and power applications, among other sectors.
